During freshman year, my friend called one night to tell me that while she’d been blowing this dude, he said, “I command you to swallow.” Naturally, I drew a picture of the event, since that is one of the funnier things someone could say in that situation. She said she was going to untag herself from the picture several years ago when I posted it, but did not actually do so until today, when her mom got Facebook.
What gets me is that she wasn’t worried about it when she untagged herself from all the pictures of her drinking that she didn’t want potential employers to see.

Intervention of the Day: Comedian / con artist Skyler Stone decided to stage a “vampire intervention” for a group of rabid Twilight fans (is there any other kind?) under the guise of a special satellite screening of New Moon.

I’ll admit, it’s kinda on the mean side — but his heart is in the right place. See here for more on how the Twilight vampires are not vampires.

I love the guy who says, “You saved our marriage.” Why would you want to spend the rest of your life with someone who is old enough to get married and loves Twilight?!

Instant reblog for a baby animal in a cup. If someone puts a human baby in a cup, I will also reblog that. Just a head’s up.

In two days, I’ll be heading back to the ATL.My old stomping grounds! I could not be more excited.

No worries. We’ve been keeping it awesome for you.

Except for the Westin, which is still missing windows.

(via phinnweb) Octobriana and the Russian Underground by Petr Sadecky, 1971From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octobriana:According to the 1971 book Octobriana and the Russian Underground by Peter Sadecky, Octobriana was created in the 1960’s by a group of dissident Russian artists calling themselves Progressive Political Pornography (PPP). However it has been suggested that the story given by Sadecky was untrue and that Octobriana was, in fact, his own creation.Petr Sadecky, while still in Prague, enlisted the help of two Czech artists, Bohumil Konečný and Zdenek Burian, in creating a comic centering around the character of “Amazona.” Sadecky told the two that he had a buyer interested in the comic, and they worked together on writing and illustrating the Amazona comic. However, Sadecky betrayed his friends by stealing all the artwork and escaping to the West, where, in his efforts to market the Amazona comic, he changed the dialog, drew a red star on the character’s forehead, and was successful only after turning Amazona into a fake political statement, “Octobriana: the spirit of the October Revolution.” Major inconsistencies in his story, and a frame in his book where Octobriana is referred to as “Amazona” (p. 83), lend credence to this story. In addition, Burian and Konecny sued Sadecky in a West German court, winning the case but never recovering all their stolen artwork. Since Octobriana is still widely thought to be the product of dissident cells within the U.S.S.R., she is not copyrighted, and has appeared in a variety of artistic incarnations.

Isn’t it weird how much she looks like actual Rihanna?

I just received two Facebook invites to two separate audience-participation screenings of Rocky Horror Picture Show. They were from the same person. And they are happening in Pittsburgh.

Peanut Butter White Chocolate Cheesecake with Honey Nut Cheerio Crust

mattgorman:

This could end up being the best thing I’ve ever made or a complete disaster. We’ll see in a few hours.

Sounds delicious. Post the recipe if it works out. If it doesn’t for some reason, keep working on it until it does. I can smell a winner from all the way over here.
